The power of self-awareness in leadership

Leadership is, as well as the other part of our corporate culture in transition. The more you lead with your mind open to change and innovation, the more likely that the service we provide is for the good of all parties. The challenge is, of course, have an open mind.

It is the power of self-awareness. According to science, and my experience, we are only aware of about 5% of what drives our lives. The rest is unconscious. This has generally worked in the past are no longer to have effective results.

Yet, people are attached to how things were or how they believe "should" be. This does not surprise me if there's one thing I learned in my relatively short time here on planet Earth is that nothing stays the same. The change is permanent, and when we understand and embrace this as a leader, become much more efficient. If you are not aware of how the brain and mind can work to oppose the change, you have some unpleasant experiences.

From my experience as an entrepreneur for over two decades, I can say that one of the most durable for continued success is a willingness to innovate and grow. This is more easily accomplished with an awareness of how our brain and nervous system functions. There comes a point where we hope to come to realize that he or she can not control the universe. You can either adapt and grow and you'll probably get crushed and die.
But history repeats itself each day as another person who goes the whistle because that person believes (or believed the company management) that he or she would be an exception. Cause and effect will eventually manage and win every time. The old models of leadership is mostly top-down hierarchies of "command and control" type. Many people are just tired of it, they rebel against it. A 2009 Gallup poll shows that nearly 70% of employees are released in varying degrees for their work.

External motivation of money and fear are not working well either, except perhaps for gourmands shy or direct. What most people are looking for is an end and fulfillment of meaning. Moreover, people are now looking to feel more personal power and independence, instead of being treated as victims or children. How to become a more effective leader is first of course correct the primary relationship and the most important in your life - your relationship with yourself.

When you take the time to understand how the brain can turn your personal power and distort your perception, you can begin to learn to be more self-conscious awareness. Your perception determines your level of efficiency absolute confidence and the ability to connect with other people. It's about learning to use the tools and processes that involve the whole mind - the intellect and intuition - which can lead to your ability to begin fully to engage their personal power.
True personal power comes from the inside out and is much less likely to be influenced by the opinions of others or fear of change. In older models of power, was very frightened and used force to try to dominate and control. It is not power, it is bullying and is rooted in insecurity. It is based on a terrible ego. All you need to do is read the newspaper to see that even the dictatorships of the countries themselves are to be overthrown by the masses.

The change is actually in the air. So in this new era, a collaborative leadership model is needed. The first level is within your own mind and heart. As I got to reconnect with my spirit, my heart, while at the same time learn to make my brain consciously and intelligently to support the process instead of approaching, I am more effective in my business relationships and personal relationships.

I'm talking about the integration of LIFE are here. Do you wherever you go, the more clarity you have in yourself, you will have more clarity in the business skills and leadership skills. Self-awareness is an important ingredient in personal power. Understand how to manage the brain and the conscious mind is an important step in this direction. What do you think?
